Shirley Harrison, member manager of Montana Healthy Water, LLC (MHW), understands the worth of water. Shirley has spent most of her life learning about achieving clean water.
She enjoys the opportunity to live and recreate in many of Montana’s pristine watersheds. She taught high school earth, biology, ecosystem and watershed science for 22 years.
She continues an interest and study of groundwater, geology, meteorology, soils of Montana.
Qualifications: She exceeds required continuing education for operator re-certification by participating in DEQ (Department of Environmental Quality), AWWA (American Water Works Association), MRWA (Montana Rural Water Association), METC (Montana Environmental Training Center), various county, watershed, river, and internet workshops and seminars.
She operates and manages small public water systems. Solving water quality problems for private homeowner wells highlights her success story.
